Yannic is a political psychology researcher passionate about the psychological foundations of democratic functioning. After his master’s thesis on the role of political expectations for political (dis)satisfaction, his focus shifted to trust and mistrust in political institutions. As a member of the AI:Democracy group, he studies how the use of artificial intelligence by political institutions affects the political trust of citizens.
