My research aims at identifying the various strategies and orientations that different social groups and individuals use to relate to each other in stable and changing environments. Here, I combine perspectives from different psychological disciplines, including cultural, social, political, developmental, and evolutionary psychology, and experimental, correlational, cross-cultural, and longitudinal research methods. While my position as a professor is at the Department of Psychology, I have been affiliated with the Center of Research on Extremism since its establishment.
