My research interest includes intergroup relations and attitudes in different cultural settings. Specifically, I am interested in exploring mechanisms that explain the rise of intergroup hostility and violent behaviour in a multicultural context. At the moment I am writing my master’s thesis at the Department of Psychology / University of Oslo. Here, I examine the relationship between basic personality traits and the perception of different forms of intergroup threat and its influence on (non)normative forms of collective action.
