Nimrat Dhaliwal

Graduate Student
I am a clinical psychology student and am conducting a project with a fellow student in which we are researching the experiences of first-generation students, that is, students who are the firsts in their families to achieve higher education. Here, we focus on the role of socialization, norms, past life experiences and identity processes. On a general basis, my main academic interest is within social psychology; in particular how past life experiences, present narrative and external conditions influence peoples’ identity formation.
