My research interests relate broadly to migration and mental health, including help-seeking, substance use, and stigma.
During my PhD, I examined (both qualitatively and quantitatively) mental health encounters between health professionals and individuals with a refugee background, with a specific focus on preferences and perceived barriers.
In future, I am interested in delving deeper into barriers to mental health help seeking among individuals with a migrant background, such as the role of stigma.
